About Seatrade Med

Seatrade Med, a UBM plc event, returns to France in November 2012, to the country’s leading cruise port, Marseille.

Once again the event's core elements; showcase exhibition, high-level industry conference, bespoke travel agent training and exceptional social events will combine to formulate the region's largest cruise gathering.

With 162 ships active in the Med in 2010 and continued growthexpected in the region, this diverse, all-season destination continues to draw the attention of the world’s cruise passengers.

Four Mediterranean countries topped the list of most visited cruise destinations in 2010, accounting between them for two-thirds of 25.3 million passenger visits in Europe.

France took fourth position, with over two million passengers arriving at its ports during 2010. The country now boasts a 11 billion cruise economy, the sixth largest in Europe, and enjoys further strong engagement with the industry through its shipbuilding expertise.
