Seatrade launches Seatrade Cruise Asia

London (3 March 2015) – Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific and the Seatrade All Asia Cruise Convention have combined to create the world's only cruise industry event purely focussed on Asia - Seatrade Cruise Asia.

Hosted by Busan Port Authority, Busan Metropolitan City, Korea Tourism Organization and Korea Marine Leisure Network, the two-day event, will take place in Busan, Korea at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Centre from 11-12 June, 2015.

The event will feature a showcase exhibition, conference and travel agent training, with the conference focusing on the growing momentum for cruise tourism in Asia as well as cruise shipbuilding today and in the future.

As the pace of cruise tourism development in Asia gathers real momentum, representatives from the world's leading cruise lines will meet to discuss the likely pattern of cruise development in the region, how the Asian economies can maximise the benefits of cruise tourism and the opportunities for Asian shipyards in cruise ship construction.

Complementing the conference sessions, the exhibition will see destinations, tourism authorities, cruise associations, tour operators, port agents and suppliers showcasing their products and services to cruise industry professionals from around Asia. The event will also feature a travel agent training programme, and a full social programme for attending delegates.
