CLIA once again presents Travel Agent Thursday, giving agents the opportunity to sharpen their skills and earn up to 20 CLIA credits.CLIA Cruise Academy

Presented by travel industry veteran and CLIA trainer Cella Baker (see bio below), these two informative sessions are aimed at increasing your knowledge and productivity in this fast moving business.

Included with your Travel Agent Training! Agents are invited to walk the show floor all three days at no charge, allowing plenty of time to network and engage with the entire industry before participating in the comprehensive program.

Cella Baker

Ms. Baker joined CLIA as a Regional Trainer in 2005. Prior to joining CLIA, Cella spent 28 years living in Alaska and furthering the growth of tourism in the state. Most notably, Cella was Trade & International Marketing Manager for the Alaska Travel Industry Association, where she conducted destination sales and marketing training for Travel Agents and Tour Operators on three continents. She has been a guest speaker at ASTA World Congress, The Travel Institute National Forum, and other notable industry events. Baker also served as General Manager of the Aspen Hotel in Anchorage. To her distinction, Cella was named one of Travel Agent Magazine's Most Powerful Women in Travel, and was also a recipient of the Alaska Hotel & Lodging Association's Star of the Industry Award.
