Four Mediterranean countries topped the list of most visited cruise destinations in 2010, accounting between them for two-thirds of 25.3 million passenger visits in Europe.
France took fourth position, with over two million passengers arriving at its ports during 2010. The country now boasts a 11 billion cruise economy, the sixth largest in Europe, and enjoys further strong engagement with the industry through its shipbuilding expertise.
